Earth Laughs in Flowers is a collaboration of three nature-loving friends who share a deep connection to the natural world.

Nicholas Riis grew up amid the breathtaking fjords of Norway, where he developed a profound appreciation for natural landscapes. After a successful career in the arts and fashion industry, he returned to his roots by co-founding a gardening company, blending creativity with his love for nature.

Simone Jarvis was raised in the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, where she gained a deep respect for nature’s resilience and fragility which was deepened in her time spent living in the Pacific Northwest. With a biologist’s expertise and an artist’s eye, Simone brings a unique perspective to the company.

Ceel Mogami de Haas spent his early years on a French farm, where he naturally became familiar with gardening and agriculture. As his family moved between farms in Botswana, the Netherlands, and central France, Ceel developed a rich and diverse knowledge of botany, rooted in a lifelong connection to the land.
